The 35th - 110th Quarter Master Association

2004 Reunion

                                     The Yoo Hoo Q.M.

The men of the110th Q.M. Regiment of WW II and the 35th Q.M, Company that kept

the fighting men of the 35th Division supplied from the Normandy beaches to the Elbe

River, will hold their 66th annual reunion in Kearney Nebraska this coming Labor Day

                   week end.

The passing years have depleted  our ranks, and though our determination remains

strong, the strength and ability that was ours is now bluff and a past to be proud of.

The news letter once was sent to over 600 Vets per issue. # 168, our last, was mailed

to 160, with one third of that number the widows of  departed comrades. We remain in

contact for those ladies  have contributed  greatly to the success of our organization

and have melded into a group as strong as our own.

Will this be our last reunion that we will hold of this type? Has the distance from the East

or the West coast become to far? Are the miles from the tip of Texas or International Falls

Min. too daunting? Wouldn't it be better to close our books at this Reunion, than to wither

and die. It is a decision to be made in a few weeks. We will make it together.
